Fan-funded Album in Production: We “Mastered” It

Paul Bryan (producer), Ryan Freeland (engineer) and Gavin Lurssen (mastering engineer) and I sat in a darkened room at Lurssen Studios in Los Angeles yesterday. The mastering process is the last “sonic” process in making the record, where the final sheen and polish, volume and bottom end, go into to the recordings. Then a sequence is made…then you go and listen in your car and ride around for a few days before you make the “glass master” which is what you print CDs from. So I’m riding around and listening now and I have to admit: I’m really proud of this record. I’m so grateful to everyone who is helping to make it happen. I’m still raising money to complete it and your pre-order helps get it done. Abum artwork is underway next…Thanks for playing a part.
