My friend Ksenia is a musician, songwriter and teacher. She invited me to do a workshop a couple months ago with her students (my first one!) and we all enjoyed it so much, she invited me to do another. I really enjoy sharing what I’ve learned, what I’m learning and helping students think about their own process. Please get in touch with her (or me) if you’re interested. This workshop will include: Exploring songwriting with different instruments. Finding sounds, voicings, and textures that can inspire new songs. Performance: how to connect with an audience. Putting a band together and fundraising. How to raise money for that project you’ve been wanting to do. In addition we’ll learn how to play three songs of mine: “O Lord” “He Drives it” and “Love Changes Everything” Bring your guitar!
